Citizens Advice Essex is the consortium body for the service as a whole, supporting our shared interests ensuring our activities are coordinated to achieve maximum impact, both in terms of direct services to communities but also our aim to advocate for change and achieve influence where we see the need to do so. Together, in 2018/19 we helped just under 48,000 people, to find a way forward with the problems they face, with money, work, housing and much more besides.The service is fortunate to be able to capitalise on the skills, knowledge and dedication of over 800 volunteers, supported by teams of dedicated paid staff, work for the service to achieve all of this.

Debt and money policy researchCitizens Advice helps hundreds of thousands of people with debt and money problems each year giving us insight into how we can prevent money problems and help people to recover.
